After I got off the phone with my friend, Mike called me back and asked if I would consider seeing him on Tuesday and I agreed. Much to my surprise, he called me the next day (Monday) and asked me to go have dinner and see a movie with him. I declined simply because I felt like continuing to date this guy would be a complete waste of time. Later that night, I spoke with a male friend of mine who told me that I was too hard on him and that I should give him another shot.

I sometimes wonder what kept me around. My ex-girlfriend was the polar opposite of my current girlfriend. My parents didn't like her, my friends didn't like her and she kept on breaking up with me whenever I did something she didn't like. She was loud, very open, rude, vulgar and sexual.
