It is a foreign concept in this culture and religion to be physically intimate without being married. The event has 4 possible open dates/time. she has some conflicts... Then I suggest a couple of more options for some similar events on other days, and she comes back saying she can't make them either... Lunch goes well and we have a lot of things to talk about. After lunch, i ask her if she would like to go to an event with me the following week. I email her the event details. Via email, we set up a date and time, and place to meet for lunch. She agrees tentatively, because she thinks, she might have to work around her calendar.

And she wished me the best. Even commented on the music I made (I gave her a cd - she was a fellow musician and I wanted her opinion on how good it was) positively, and said that I was "extremely talented." And the truth is, this woman wouldn't have been weirded out by it, because we got along great.
