How many times has she gone out trolling meat markets...er...sorry, "dancing wiht her friends" in all that time? I'm just wondering how many short term little relationships she's been in with the boys from the bars in all of that time. 2 Years.

I really wish I was just scared of the intimacy, it would probably be less stressful than dealing with jealousy.

She said there might still be a chance for me in the future, but she wasn't sure. I met this girl 2 and a half months ago. Two days later she called me and we had a long conversation about how she isn't completely sure she wants to be in a relationship because she had just gotten out of a relationship 3 weeks prior, and since she was just about to start college (she is 18, I'm 22) she wanted to keep her options open and be able to make friends and meet people without being completely tied down.

Insanity can be defined as doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results (that's a loosely paraphrased quote from someone but I forget whom). It's possible that she may never see that. That's as dependent on her as it is on you. You said yourself you've changed who you are and that's done nothing to change her opinion.

This is who he is, and there is nothing you can do for him. I can never understand why people bother with someone like this....christ would really want kids with a guy like this? Not only would you struggle with his depression in your relaitonship...it will get passed on if he has kids....this fails.
