So, perhaps if you gave a guy a chance to know you weren't going to just discard him (which you seem to be doing) then he might open up emotionally. I am very in touch with some of my emotions, such as tearing up at certain moving/emotional things in dramas etc. But interpersonally, I keep everyone at arms length emotionally because I don't trust that I wouldn't just be emotionally hurt again for the umpteenth time.

Her room mate asked me one day in the lab that I clean (their both students at a graduate school) if I had any children, if I was married, or had a girlfriend. I realize the "kinda' do have a girlfriend" comment didn't help at all, but I was really just curious what signs a lady gives when she's frustrated that your not showing mutual interest. I feel I have gotten lot's of positive "signs" from a woman (she's 25) and it went on for about a month. I was just wondering how a woman goes about demonstrating her "frustration" that you may not be mutually interested in her as she is with you when she's flirting with you? I told her no to children and married, but I told her I "kinda' had a girlfriend ( I do have a girlfriend, but it's been a bit rocky and I really didn't date much in my 20's and 30's and so I wanted to keep a possibility open with her).

Most of the women in the waiting thread used weak arguments like 'So if she put out on the first date with one guy she has to do it forever now?' Lol no, that's not the point. And 'She doesn't owe him anything' The point is that she was dating a couple men (It's in the OP for those who said she never said whe was multi dating) and slept with one of them and held out on the other.
