I was totally in love, as was she. We were young and silly. My girlfriend was a loyal friend and always went out for nights out with her even though her friend tried several times to fix her up with other guys. 30 years ago I was dating an incredible beautiful girl. We dated for five years. There was such an incredible connection.

He is now married with another lady and he is still cheating. At least now it's someone else problem, not mine anymore. In my case I refused to stay and left. So yes I do believe in some circumstances men can cheat even if they are in a happy relationship. He was right, he can't stop.

You guys are just being infatuated.....give her flowers when the romantic part of your relationship (exclusivity) starts. You buy her something if it was for a house warming party. She knows that you both are really digging each other...you don't need gifts for that. You need to pull back on your excitement and just let things go at the pace it is at.
