If you feel it is rude, and you are asking for consideration, you've talked to him and explained yourself... then it's his responsibility (as your significant other) to attempt to adapt, or comprimise, or tell you he cannot change. And then you can call bunk when he tells you it's just the way he is, and to deal with it. However, sometimes we shouldn't have to "adapt" to the way our bf's treat us. But if you understand the basics of how men communicate, then you can better understand what a man can, or can't, change in the way they communicate.
