Bingo. Not saying it to be mean. The things you are meaning to convey are getting either misconstrued or one thing is overshadowing everything else. How do you get better at communicating within dating if you "take a break", retreat and then come back with the same patterns, hoping new people with new thought processes have magically appeared on the scene. Yes, of course! When you repeatedly have the same problem, as you said yourself, you feel like you might be part of the problem.
