But barring that, he was obviously using it as an excuse to check on her. Neither is showing up early. And my theory that he's insecure is supported by what he's willing to put up with from his gf. Carrying in chocolates to a club is just a socially awkward thing to do. When you say things like this, I can only assume you've never been to a club. Bringing the chocolates isn't what makes me consider him insecure. It's that he can't just admit why he wanted to show up early had nothing to do with chocolates.

I personaly don't care about impressing my gf's family.

We are affectionate people and I crave his attention constantly, he usually volunteers his "I love you's" at least 10 times a day but I still seem to ask him when he doesn't say it I ask him "do you love me" or if I tell him I love him and he says "umm hmm" or something to acknowledge it but if he doesn't say it back I feel bad and ask him to tell me. I have been with my boyfriend over a year and we are together on a daily basis.

Why are you still there??? Everyone on this post said what I was thinking. I just wanted to put my 2 cents in and say OMG!!!!

A gorgeous woman might look at an average guy and think "Eww" because he's below her standards, whereas an average woman might look at the same guy and think he's attractive, and an ugly woman might look at the same guy and think he's so hot that he's out of her league. If someone is of equivalent attractiveness to yourself, you don't feel like you're settling.
