To me that's the worst feeling, to have someone turn your back on you at your most vulnerable. I know I sabotaged the relationship early on, and I really hope that's the reason he couldn't be supportive. That any guy would get cold when I cried.

I'd want someone to approach me because they're interested in me, not because I happen to be female, not-horribly-deformed, breathing, and the only chick who didn't say "go away." And for what it's worth, if I'm at a bar or some social place, I can usually spot the guys who are looking to talk to anyone with a pulse and a vagina and are just there to pick up a chick - any chick.
