When I had my wedding ring reset a few years ago I took the side diamonds out of the engagement ring I had from my first fiancee to use in the setting, then I had the old ring made into a brooch with the center diamond.

Then out of the blue one day it stops! No texts now meeting up no sex and she completely ignores me at work and doesn't respond to any communication I try to have with her. I still don't have a reason or any idea what happened. At this point I feel like my heart is ripped out of my chest as I have no answers. After a month she comes back to me and tells me she missed me and we start back up again but something was clearly off so I kept pushing her to tell me what was wrong. She is single and maybe she found another guy? After another month she tells me to leave her alone and to stop talking to her.

On paper, I feel like we are very compatible with a lot of the same interests and we have a great time when we get together, but I just don't feel the "I want to rip your clothes off" feeling I had with the ex. And there are some things I'm not sure about (he has kids, I don't and I don't know how I feel about being a step mom, but that's putting the cart before the horse) and sometimes he says oh-so-nerdy things that make me cringe...
