I am so dumb. I think that is it. I think he wants me to be all of these things for him, and take care of him for now. I just didn't see that before. And honestly when he does meet someone, I think he will push me out. I used to think maybe he was just jealous - but what it probably is that he just doesn't want to face the possibility that if I find someone else, I would not be as attentive to him when he needs it.
