He puts himself out there as being attracted to the woman by contacting her. After doing this hundreds to thousands of times, or even a dozen, for those lucky few amongst us who gain a LTR out of each first meeting, making that effort to plan and 'care' for essentially a stranger, even if only situationally, over time, is wearing. Getting to know a stranger, especially as a man who generally either does pursue or has pursued hundreds to thousands in his lifetime, men know the drill. She chooses to either meet him or not and decides at that meeting whether his interest is worthy of her reciprocation and/or she is interested.

I do get approached all the time by men, but i always have thatdread at the back of my mind that i am infact really ugly, and they will soon see me in the morning, or without my extendtions in, and realise this. When i get dressed up, I look very nice.

A wonderful example of my theory that women are truly single for about ten seconds. LOL, my most current 'example' is a legally divorced woman who is still sleeping (having sex) with her exH, dating other men and still entertaining desires of 'getting back' with said exH.
